Midterm Exam Schedule

 

Exam Day 1 - Tuesday, January 22

Period 1 Exam    7:45 - 9:55

Break      9:55 - 10:10

Period 2 Exam   10:10 - 12:15

Exam Day 2 - Wednesday, January 23

Period 3 Exam    7:45 - 9:55

Break      9:55 - 10:10

Period 4 Exam   10:10 - 12:15

Exam Day 3 - Thursday, January 24

Period 5 Exam    7:45 - 9:55

Break      9:55 - 10:10

Period 6 Exam   10:10 - 12:15

Exam Day 4 - Friday, January 25

Period 7 Exam    7:45 - 9:55

Break      9:55 - 10:10

Make Up Exam   10:10 - 12:15

*IF THERE IS A SNOW DAY ON FRIDAY,  EXAMS WILL STILL PROCEED IN ORDER BEGINNING ON TUESDAY! PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY!
 
*IF WE HAVE A SNOW DAY NEXT WEEK, THE EXAM SCHEDULE FROM THE SNOW DAY GETS BUMPED TO THE FOLLOWING DAY. EXAMS WILL PROCEED IN ORDER REGARDLESS!
 
IF WE HAVE A DELAYED OPENING TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NEXT WEEK, THE SCHEDULE WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
 
Exam 1   9:55 to 11:55

*Lunch High School Students:   11:55 to 12:20

Exam 2  12:25 to 2:25

*Middle School will have lunch 11:30-11:55

 

Exemption Criteria

Exemption Criteria-applies to semester courses only.

 

STUDENTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 93% SEMESTER AVERAGE IN THE CLASS BEING EXEMPTED

Seniors:  May exempt from ALL Semester course exams
Juniors:  May exempt from TWO (2) Semester course exams
Sophomores:  May exempt from ONE (1) Semester course exams
Freshman:  MUST TAKE ALL EXAMS

 

Exemption forms must be completed and turned in to the Main office 
no later than Wednesday, January 16th at 2:29 pm

You may pick up exemption forms in the High School Office or in Guidance

*Midterm Exams count for 20% OF YOUR SEMESTER GRADE, which is basically a half of a quarter’s worth of work.


*You must be PRESENT for all of your exams. In the event of an excused absence (which MUST BE CALLED IN THAT DAY BY PARENT & A MEDICAL NOTE BROUGHT IN THE NEXT DAY TO THE OFFICE) you can make up your exam during one of the make up blocks in coordination with your teacher (DO not assume a teacher will proctor your makeup exam whenever; it is YOUR responsibility to schedule it with your teacher).  If your parent/guardian does not make a call if you are legitimately sick and you do not bring in a medical note the following day, you will receive a ZERO on the exam and it CAN NOT BE MADE UP.

*You must be ON TIME to your exams. You will miss important directions and explanations from teachers on how to complete your exams; ARRIVE ON TIME!!!! Anyone arriving late, especially more than 20 minutes late for an exam, must meet with an administrator in person to explain their attendance BEFORE they are allowed entrance into their exam. BE PROMPT!!
