The W.L. Gilbert Trust and The Gilbert School are proud to honor those individuals who exemplify excellence, service, and dedication. Our awards program recognizes individuals who have brought distinction to themselves and our school community through outstanding achievements in their professional careers, exceptional service to their communities, and remarkable contributions to athletics.
We invite you to nominate deserving individuals for the following awards: The Gilbert Heritage & Legacy
Award, recognizing professional achievement and alumni distinction, The W.L. Gilbert Award for
Outstanding Community Service, honoring humanitarian and philanthropic contributions, or for the Athletic Hall of Fame, celebrating athletic excellence and contributions to Gilbert athletics.
Your nomination helps us celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of those connected to The Gilbert
Community and inspires current and future students to pursue excellence in all endeavors.
The W. L. Gilbert Heritage & Legacy Award
This award is presented to a member of The Gilbert School community who has distinguished themselves through significant contributions or accomplishments during their lifetime, bringing honor and pride to the Gilbert community. The recipient exemplifies outstanding achievement through their participation, commitment, and leadership in their chosen field or area of service. The length and quality of their career accomplishments, dedication to excellence, and respect among colleagues are hallmarks of this recognition. This award represents the traditions, heritage, and legacy of William L. Gilbert and may be given posthumously.
The W. L. Gilbert Award for Outstanding Community Service
This award is presented to a member of The Gilbert School Community who has displayed exceptional service toward the betterment of life within his or her own community or humanity in general. This award honors the significant humanitarian and philanthropic contributions made by William L. Gilbert, founder of The Gilbert School and may be given posthumously.
The Gilbert Athletic Hall of Fame
This award is presented to an alumnus, coach, team, or contributor to The Gilbert Community who has demonstrated exceptional athletic achievement, leadership, and sportsmanship. Recipients may be recognized for outstanding performance as a student-athlete, significant contributions as a coach or athletic administrator, or dedicated support of Gilbert athletics. Inductees have brought distinction to themselves and The Gilbert School through their commitment to athletic excellence and embodiment of the values of teamwork, perseverance, and integrity. This award may be given posthumously.
