Alumni Book Collection

The Alumni Collection at The Gilbert School Library

The Gilbert School Alumni Office, with the generous support of the Class of 1975, has established a
book collection featuring alumni authors, illustrators, designers, and publishers.

Housed in The Gilbert School Library, The Alumni Collection showcases books written, created,
or published by Gilbert alumni. These books will be integrated into the classroom experience,
creating meaningful, lasting connections between alumni authors and current students.

The collection celebrates the literary accomplishments of our graduates, fosters deeper relationships between alumni, students, and the broader Gilbert community, and inspires current students by demonstrating what is possible.

The Alumni Collection welcomes donated books on a wide range of subjects, including art and
design, fiction, children's literature, food, memoirs, social justice, and more, provided they support the curriculum, interests, and mission of the school. Each book will be placed in a specially
designated area of the library and will feature a bookplate recognizing the alumni author.
