Timothy Cronin, CEO of the W. L. Gilbert Trust holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science/Business Management. He brings over twelve years of experience in all aspects of administration in academia including undergraduate and graduate admissions, student recruitment and enrollment both internationally and college level, marketing, communications along with staff management and development. He oversees all aspects of its general and day-to-day program functions.
International trips to China, France, Italy, Germany, England, and Brazil proved great success in recruiting amazing students from these diverse countries for The Gilbert School. Sister schools in Italy, England and China were also established since it’s 2013 inception of the program.
In his new expanded role, Tim is excited to begin working with advancement and development along with cultivating more diversity for the residency program.
Debra LaRoche Walls
Dean of Admissions of the W. L. Gilbert Trust
Debra LaRoche Walls is the Dean of Admissions for the international program at The Gilbert School. She assists the CEO, Mr. Timothy Cronin in the admissions, including interviewing and the entire application process for new students and parents. She is a student-centered individual who has worked in the admissions field for over thirty years. Debra's passion is connecting with students and their families and she will make your admissions process a seamless journey for you. She prepares our students for American life and helps them obtain and organize the necessary documents to begin classes at The Gilbert School.
Throughout her many years in the field of education, Debra has traveled the state and most recently globally to meet with prospective students and parents about the offerings available to international students at The Gilbert School. Debra also helps with Student Life accommodations at the Residency Hall that becomes the new home of the international students. Debra's goal is to make sure students are comfortable and ready to make a smooth transition to their new venue in Winsted, Connecticut, USA.
