GSA Meeting -High School High School GSA meet every Thursday during Flex.
GSA Meeting -Middle School Middle School GSA will meet every other Thursday beginning 10/5 during FleX.
Army Star Program Army STAR Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 2:50 pm - 4:00 pm, in room 210. We are looking for a hand full of new students to join this unique credit-bearing club. Get an application from the school counseling office.
The Gilbert School Career Development Center December marks the Gilbert Schools Career Development Centers: Arts, Video, Production, and Communications Career exploration month! Stay tuned for 3 great opportunities coming your way from the Career Center.
Before School Library & Gym The library will now be open at 7:15 for students to quietly work before school- and for those who would like a little activity- or a bigger space to meet-the gym will be open before school.
Leo Club Hat, Mitten, Glove & Sock Drive The Leo Club is collecting hats, gloves, mittens, and socks for the Open Door to distribute to needy clients. Items may be dropped under the tree in the library between December 4th and 15th.
NHS High School "Homework Help" Starting on Wednesday 12/6, National Honor Society will be offering "Homework Help" in Room 104 during Flex (Tuesday through Friday only). If you would like help with homework, math, or editing papers, please see Ms. Wortman in Room 104, or ask your teacher to help you sign up!"
The Gilbert School Toy Drive We will be hosting a Toy Drive to benefit the children at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center starting next week, from December 11th to 15th. We will be accepting unopened and new toys and games that are appropriate for young children. Gifts need to be unwrapped. Often requested items are infant toys, teenage items, LEGOs and Crayola products.
Middle School Holiday Party There will be a holiday party for all middle school students after school on THURSDAY, December 14 from 2:30-4:00 in the cafeteria. The international students and student ambassadors will be decorating cookies, making cracks, and facepainting!
Leo Club Meeting There will be a Leo Club Meeting Wednesday, December 13, during Flex in the Health Classroom
High School Candy Cane Grams The Senior class of 2018 will be selling Candy Cane Grams for $1 each. You can personalize them and send them to a friend or teacher of your choice! You are also welcome to purchase the candy cane separately for just $.50. They will be on sale until next Wednesday, December 20th, and will be delivered on Friday, December 22nd. This is the perfect way to spread the holiday cheer!
Winter Drumline Meeting Winter Drumline is meeting after school this Thursday, from 2:40 until 4. Anyone is welcome to join, no experience necessary. See Mr. Ingmanson in room 103 for questions
A Day in the Life of Radio 104.1 Attention all students interested in pursuing a career in communications or broadcasting. Stephen Chamberlain, aka Holden from rock station 104.1 will be here tomorrow during 6th period to give students a day in the life of talk about what it takes to make it in radio. Sign up in guidance by the end of today if you are interested.
Attention all students and parents:
Once a student arrives to school, whether they arrive by bus, are dropped off by a parent or guardian, or they walk, students are NOT allowed to leave the school building without permission. This includes walking to the bottom of the hill, going to the parking lot to their car and there is absolutely no leaving to go to the store or local surrounding restaurants. This expectation includes the normal daily schedule, any modified schedule, mid-term exam week and final exam week.
