This memo replaces previous parking plans dated October 26, 2016.
Beginning the week of November 7, 2016, we anticipate construction of the dormitory to begin with the first modular sections arriving on November I 0, 2016. After consulting with the construction firm, police chief and student council, the construction for the dormitory will begin each day at 8:00 a.m. We are requesting that students who have parking permits be parked in the student lot by 7:45 a.m. Students will park in the student parking lot on the left side of the lot facing the brook. Staff who park in the student lot will use the spaces on the right side of the lot. The middle section must remain open for the construction vehicles. Parents will be able to drop off their children in the bus loop until 7:45 a.m. Any arrivals after 7:45 a.m. must be dropped off in the staff parking lot or at the bottom of the hill leading to the staff parking lot.
The driveway to the student lot will be one lane beginning at 7:45 a.m. If you are picking up your child prior to the close of school, please use the staff parking lot until construction is completed. Visitor and handicapped parking spaces will be only available in the staff lot during the construction period.
These changes will go into effect on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Thank you for your cooperation. We believe we will return to normal traffic patterns as soon as possible, hopefully by mid-December.
